Staff Development

The district recognizes the importance of continual support to its employees and staff development opportunities focus support on three areas crucial to the implementation of a standards-based instructional program: Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BTSA), Instructional Practices, and Technology.

Various divisions and departments provide staff development. Teachers and classified staff are encouraged to continue to enhance their own skills and integrate new techniques and information into their job.

Most courses have a registration deadline and some courses may have registration fees. Please note specifics regarding how these fees are being handled. Participants will be able to go online at any time before the posted deadline and register for workshops. All confirmations and correspondence are sent via email.
